The Overflowing World of Shibuya Scramble Crossing

Shibuya is well known for its scramble crossing, famed for the monstrous crowds of people crossing in five alternative ways. 

From high above, everyone seems so miniscule, showing how small we are in such a vast, infinite world. 

I altered this photo, enhancing the saturation and darkening it to add more of a fun, chaotic energy to the scene. 

Splashy Peranakan Houses in Singapore's Chinatown

Peranakan houses can be found all over Singapore. Block after block in Chinatown comes eclectic buildings ranging from pastel to bright colors and floral prints?! 

Dragons and Yellow Lanterns at Yokohama Chinatown

Yokohama Chinatown Part II: One of the most stylish Chinatowns I've ever seen. Almost every corner there is a pagoda gate with colorful displays from restaurants and shops surrounding the neighborhood. 

These long, yellow lanterns and the dragon-like shape caught my attention and stole the show!

Streets of Porto: Aligning Up to Clerigos Church

Porto has famous cobblestone steps, small streets and walkways, a mix of neutral and colorful (extremely narrow!) buildings, and we can't forget about those steep hills. On this particular pathway, I love the alignment of all the buildings and how perfect is is with the twists and turns of the street, leading up to the well-known Clerigos Church. 

The Beauty of Red Lanterns in Chinatown, London

One of the most aesthetically beautiful Chinatowns ever with bright red lanterns adorning all the streets across this neighborhood. The sun decides to pop out briefly, lending some extra saturation to this day. 

Streets of Yokohama: Colorful Building Aesthetics

After leaving Yokohama Station, I peered outside at this narrow streetway and immediately loved it. All the buildings are perfectly aligned, with neutral colors first in our view..,then colorful signs further out. The gray cast in the sky added to the cool vibes here, really allowing the neutral hues of the buildings to both blend in and stand out at the same time.  

Chicago at Night: Mesmerizing Walks in the Light

One of those magical kind of nights in downtown Chicago, surrounded by bustling restaurants, bars, and streets and tall skyscrapers glowing softly in the distance. 

City Treasure: Palm Tree Vibes on One Street

Such a beautiful treasure that I recently discovered. This is now one of my favorite places to go for a quick hike and to get picturesque views of the city (+ palm trees). 

Sitting right off of Buena Vista Park, this steep hill offers a glimpse at some of the most spectacular houses and SoCal-like palm trees on the block. 

The Sidewalk Garden: A Walk Around the Block

Stumbled upon this random garden right along the sidewalk. This was such a pleasant surprise and a great way to brighten up everyone's walk around the neighborhood!

Bustling, Striking Night Lights at New York's Times Square

It was late in the night in Times Square and there was so much energy everywhere, as expected of the Big Apple. The blocks and blocks of buildings and razor-sharp shining, blinding lights make it seem like it's day time all night long.
