Desert Botanical Garden Part I: Probably one of the most unique cacti in the desert garden. It was a slightly hazy, mostly cloudy day and on the chilly side in the morning. Definitely the best (and most comfortable) time to capture cacti in the desert!

The column designs are spectacular here and make amazing backdrops. I love how these look--it's like a long walkway with sharp shadows and plenty of columns that lends a unique 3-D quality to it.

Like a Painting: The Water Reflections of Central Park

Super hot, humid day in the city but still worth a stroll in Central Park. Wandered around the park and spotted this lake with painterly reflections of nearby trees and soft, pastel white clouds surrounding the blue sky.
