City Walls Part III: The clouds start rolling in mid-afternoon, covering part of the bright blue skies.
While walking inside the City Walls, I stopped and gasped when I saw this view. Crystal-clear deep turquoise blue waters, the sharp and dramatic edges of the cliffs, red rooftops, and the famed fortress consumes the frame, leaving all of us in awe.
City Walls Part I: The rugged, craggy cliffs are at its peak from the edge of the City Walls. The distinct contrast of rocks and sea blend remarkably well together from this particular angle, highlighting the dramatic, surreal beauty that is Dubrovnik.

The Adriatic Sea offers the most dramatic and marvelous water hues. Crystal clear aqua blue colors dazzle and shine especially brighter on sunny days. From this angle, Dubrovnik's historic Old Town and City Walls take over the coastal views.
Ancient volcanic activity leaves this nature preserve with a stunning crescent shape. Rocky cliffs and awe-inspiring forms take hold, with the soft, contrasting beach and water in the near distance.

Sweetwater Wetlands Park Part II: The clouds fall deeper into the fiery red hues as the sky continues to darken preparing for the middle phases of twilight into the night.
Sweetwater Wetlands Park Part I: Waiting a few minutes after the official sunset and the sky continues to darken, creating sharper contrasts as the light pink-orange clouds become deeper and altering into dramatic red hues. With the reflections on the lake and the mysterious shadow-like vibes of the trees, this strongly resembles a sunset watercolor painting.

The CN Tower stands tall and bright along with the other skyscrapers. I wanted to give this a dreamy effect, utilizing colors from the skies from anime and adding in sparkles throughout the imagery.
When you try your best to stay awake to capture Mount Fuji (in minutes) as the shinkansen speeds its way to Tokyo...
It's difficult to capture the perfect shot in a fast-moving bullet train, but I managed to get this image, showcasing the beauty of Mount Fuji with minimal cloud coverage, bright blue skies and a mix of grass and river views.
The city lights come alive. The sky darkens and gets bluer, losing its brightness and natural source of light.
The artificial lights glow up the city, the parks, and the buildings bringing a whole new energy into night.
Pylon Lookout Part I: The color of Sydney Opera House continues to transform throughout the day from white to glowing yellow as the direction of the sun (or lack thereof) changes as the hours fly by.
One of my favorite captures is during twilight as the mostly cloudy sky absorbs some of the fading sunset colors and the lights begin to flicker into the evening.

All five senses are awakened in this environment. Sounds and sights are elevated and take complete control of the scene.

Different weather patterns can be seen on opposite corners. On one side, you can feel the sun...on the other side, you're braving through the mist.

The gloomy overcast sky surprisingly creates the ideal atmosphere.

Black Sand Beach Part I: It's like straight out of a black and white movie.
You don't exactly think of going to a beach on a grey, dreary, drizzling afternoon. But the black sand and cliffs create such a moody, evocative contrast against the white sky as the strong waves crash onto shore.
Canals are everywhere around the city. What sets this one apart is the famous floating flower market aligned so perfectly with the exquisite architecture framed in the background and the reflections by the water.
Striking Dutch renaissance architecture can be found all over Amsterdam. Regardless of weather or the time of day, they create such mesmerizing water reflections and contrasting art by the canals.
Singapore's Waterfront Promenade offers picturesque views of the city skyline. The unique ArtScience museum takes the lead with its famous design and vibrant purple-blue reflections over the waters.
I used a similar color scheme as the dazzling lights to sweep the sky with a soft yet striking painterly effect.
