Crocker Galleria Part II: On a (breezy) weekend, the Crocker Galleria is closed to visitors, which offers up a pretty fantastic photo opportunity to capture the entire mall and its glass dome atrium.

Not a single soul in sight.

After walking up the hill, we marveled at these ruins of the historic Warden's House at Alcatraz island.

Berkeley Rose Garden: Stroll Down the Pergola Walkway


A slightly warmer day and equally bright sunshine in the middle of the afternoon calls for chill vibes at the Berkeley Rose Garden. 

I particularly loved this magnificent pergola walkway. Captured from this angle, you get glimpses of the amphitheater garden, colorful roses from afar, snapshots of the trees + sky in the background, and the design of the pergola (including its sharp, clear shadows.)
