The Twilight Hour: Subdued Tones & Colors in Sydney

Pylon Lookout Part II: The twilight hour approaches after the sun sets.

The colors become muted and soft but still bright enough where sights are visible.

The clouds have higher contrast and are more prominent.

The skyscrapers stand tall and get ready to illuminate into the night.

Illuminations at Night: Neon Splashes of Light

Can't help but admire this marvelous lights event in downtown San Francisco, with illuminating lights shining bright across numerous famous buildings in the city.

Each building features striking digital art ranging from 5 to 10 minutes long from a diverse range of artists. I particularly loved this one at the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange building. Saturated colors in a fun gradient and sparkling background shine across all the columns and exteriors, ranging from turquoise, magenta, and midnight blue shades, creating a truly transcendent experience.

Palace of Westminter's Gothic Architectural Design

The neo-gothic style of the Palace of Westminster building is so well-made and remarkable across all corners and dimensions.

The ever-changing angles of light casts different glows, shadows and colors onto the building, creating epic photo opps from close up and from afar.

The Architecture of Walt Disney Concert Hall

Stainless steel makes up the architecture of Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. I loved this post-modern style look and feel and wanted to capture a closeup view of it with the sun glaring down in the middle of the day, casting some cool saturated colors and hues.

After walking up the hill, we marveled at these ruins of the historic Warden's House at Alcatraz island.

It's so cool being able to see this from afar and then also getting an up close and personal look of it.

Clear Blue Glass + City Water Views

Spotless sky with bright blue hues from above.

This building worked wonders from this angle - I love how the glass looked, right next to the water and the ocean colors surrounding it in all directions.

Twisted Architecture: Sign of Things to Come

A twisted skyscraper tower...the first of its kind seen in San Francisco. I remember looking at the construction of this MIRA tower for a couple years and now it's completed and ready for takeover.

The New York Icon: Flatiron Building's Remarkable Design

The spectacular Flatiron building in New York City. We loved seeing it from all angles and from top to bottom. With the mid-afternoon sun and humid heat, the partly cloudy blue skies made for an amazing backdrop for this photo.

The Majestic Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel

Not the real Eiffel Tower in Paris, France but still worthy of admiration and a picture in Las Vegas! After a nice stroll around the crowded streets at the strip, I decided to capture this golden structure and all its glory. A quick subtle pink filter gives it a nice, soft pastel vibe.

Victorian-Style Atrium at the Cleveland Arcade

A famous structure in downtown Cleveland featuring the Hyatt Regency hotel along with numerous shops and spectacular views throughout, including the glass skylight design of the atrium. I decided to lighten the photo a bit more and enhance the saturation and contrast. The result? It brought out some unexpected pastel, rainbow gradient hues and extra details of the structure that would have otherwise been missed!

Treasure Island's Sparkling Skyscraper View of the City

Treasure Island can seem so far and removed from the city--and yet so close and within reach! It always offers the best views of the San Francisco skyline and this day was no different. I decided to have a little bit more fun and add pink effects to this photo along with some sun flare and sparkles. The aftermath? A soft, pastel, dreamy scenery to match.

Triangle Pyramid Architecture, Design, and Infrastructure

While walking around the city waterfront, we spotted this World Trade Center and had to get closer for a picture! The building had some of the most spectacular glass art and designs. What especially caught our eye was this sky bridge which had glass panel walls and columns with a triangle-shaped theme. The mid-afternoon sunlight added on to this bridge and provided some awe-inspiring reflections.
