Pink Sunrises and Moon Views in Fairbanks

Bright, frosty, clear skies on a wintry day at sunrise.

It's one of those mornings where you walk outside and feel the blistery cold but breathe the pleasantly fresh air while soaking up the views.

Black and White: Snowy Trees in Fairbanks

Fairbanks Trees Part II: Continuing to watch the snow fall, decorating the trees.

It was one of those rare days where you only see a couple shades of colors outside...creating a pretty surreal winter scene.

White Christmas: Snowy Escape with the Trees

Fairbanks Trees Part I: I remember looking at this and thinking this came straight out of a black and white movie.

With the falling snow, black spruce trees, and the extremely remote location in Alaska, this looks like one of those perfect white Christmas scenes!

Waking Up at Sunrise to Stunning Fairbanks

Super clear skies with bright yellow hues all around at sunrise.

I left the igloo for about a minute or two just to capture this before the color faded away.

Aerial View of Snow & Trees at Fairbanks

You know it is still winter when you peer outside and it looks like you're watching a classic movie in black and white. The landscape here is stunning and cannot be replicated or replaced with just a photo!

Deep Blue Skies at Dawn: The Magic of Fairbanks

Otherworldly magic. Nature is truly beautiful when you venture away from the city lights.

On a super clear, freezing day, we ventured outside and had to capture this view of the igloos at dawn, marveling at the stark beauty surrounding us.
