The 45th floor view of Shinjuku City in Tokyo, Japan. 

This view was well worth the long wait. From watching the last drops of sunlight descending into twilight and into full darkness, it was quite the extraordinary hour.

Refreshing Streets of Tokyo: An Evening in Shinjuku

Stumbling upon the streets of the busy Shinjuku district in Tokyo, Japan.

I saw this not-so-hidden alleyway on a brisk evening and loved the way the restaurants, display signs, and lamps lit up the night. 

Bright Pink Sunshine: Hibiscus Flower in the Garden

This hibiscus flower radiates so much light everywhere with its fuchsia pink and pastel yellow-orange hues. Had to do a close-up of this one!

Tranquil Mindset: Water Reflections at Shinjuku Garden

Peaceful, carefree garden with clear reflections of the trees and blue skies.

Came across this pond and thought it would make a perfect capture with the super transparent reflections and perfectly aligned trees!

The Contrast of the Sunset Glow and Skyscraper Lights

It's always amazing witnessing the sun slowly set--watching the natural light disappear and seeing darkness gradually appear...with the skyscrapers lighting up with artificial lights, getting brighter and bolder as the sky continues to darken. Seeing the contrast between daylight and nightfall is always spectacular.
