Black Sand Beach Part I: It's like straight out of a black and white movie.
You don't exactly think of going to a beach on a grey, dreary, drizzling afternoon. But the black sand and cliffs create such a moody, evocative contrast against the white sky as the strong waves crash onto shore.
Canals are everywhere around the city. What sets this one apart is the famous floating flower market aligned so perfectly with the exquisite architecture framed in the background and the reflections by the water.
Striking Dutch renaissance architecture can be found all over Amsterdam. Regardless of weather or the time of day, they create such mesmerizing water reflections and contrasting art by the canals.
Singapore's Waterfront Promenade offers picturesque views of the city skyline. The unique ArtScience museum takes the lead with its famous design and vibrant purple-blue reflections over the waters.
I used a similar color scheme as the dazzling lights to sweep the sky with a soft yet striking painterly effect.

When you're close to 10,000 feet above ground level, you feel quite invincible. I had a bit of fun with this image, using the railings, glass reflections, and blue hues of the sunset sky to create this imagery. Duplicating the photo, adding human elements, and some sparkly effects create an enchanting, unusual image.
