The Paper Arch: Gate to the Heavens
Amazing Paper Arch creation made from paper and filled with 3D collages! I loved seeing the variety of designs at the special Art of Burning Man exhibit in the Oakland Museum of California. Such distinctive artwork with its own unique touch, appeal and story weaved into each masterpiece.

3D Geometric Art: Hyperspace Reflections
When I learned that the Oakland Museum of California was going to have a special exhibit dedicated to The Art of Burning Man, I knew I had to go.
This was one of my favorite pieces at the exhibit. This looks so surreal and complicated but when you look closely, you realize how simple it is actually. Light can change everything around you, creating some mesmerizing perspectives.

Calming Blue Sunset Sky and Water Waves
A super blue sky with hints of yellow-pink hues as the sun starts to set. The water gets even bluer and deeper as it prepares to enter into twilight and nightfall.

Eastern Span Architecture of Bay Bridge at Sunset
The brand new (only a few years old!) eastern span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bridge is known for its spectacular design and architecture. The best way to capture this view? Close up and during sunset.

Oakland Zoo's Impressive Giraffes and Reflections
One of the best highlights of going to the Oakland Zoo was seeing these tall giraffes! We couldn't get enough of them and kept taking more and more pictures. I wanted to capture them in action and the slight reflections. Post-process, I decided to reduce the saturation and gave it a slight black and white effect.

San Francisco Bay Bridge at Sunset Hour
Every picture no matter how ordinary or bland can become lively when taken during the golden hours.
This day was no exception...while we crossed the Bay Bridge I had to capture this before I missed my chance...as the color in the sky changes rapidly during this time of day!

Deep In Your Eyes: Mesmerizing Cloud Reflections
Transparent anything is always spectacular--and something that catches our eye. It's like looking at mirror reflections...everything is always different! This building has the clearest, most remarkable reflections of downtown buildings and the clouds definitely steal the show.

Pastel Pink Palm Trees: The Diamond Effect
Rows and rows of palm trees decked the waterfront. I added a blurred pastel pink effect along with transparent diamonds to incorporate a mysterious, dreamy feel and mimic the effortlessness of long summer days.
