Escape to the Coast: Corona Del Mar's Expansive Views

Corona Del Mar State Beach Park is known as the "Crown of the Sea."

It truly lives up to its name with mansions surrounding the park and beach (for miles and miles), gorgeous views from the waters, and the calming, coastal glamour that you can only dream of.

This was one of my favorite pics from this beach and I decided to add a cool blue filter to it to create a calming, yet somewhat moody photo to match the grey overcast skies. The different textures from the clouds create a slight pastel effect, which lends itself a nostalgic, ethereal, dreamy quality.

Golden Gate Bridge's Sunset Glow Effect

Finally a day where we head over to Sausalito and see crystal clear skies without a touch of fog!

I love this postcard-perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco bay area from Battery Spencer. I wanted to give it more color so decided to add in a warm sunset filter to brighten the vibe even more.

Red Sunset and Turquoise Blue Hues at La Jolla Cove

La Jolla Cove Part III: The shore with crashing waves, rocks, beaches, and mountain views from afar. Sunset is always the best time to examine the altering hues of the sky.

I wanted to cast a nice red undertone onto this picture, making the sunset warmer with a brighter glow. The red hues also add a bluer effect on the ocean, creating a stronger and more striking effect.

Dusty Pink + Blue Sunset Skies Above the Palm Trees

I love experimenting with colors, hues, and different saturation levels for all my photos and wanted to create a beautiful dusty sunset vibe with pink and blue hues and a less saturated, vintage-y effect. On a sunny day at Dolores Park, I captured a blue sky photo of the nearby palm trees and changed the effects of it to create this image.

Saturated Lego-Inspired Houses from the Mountains

From far away, this colorful, scenic view of houses look like they can be homes made out of lego pieces! From the mountains, I can see the entire neighborhood along with nearby parks, trees, and the distant city miles and miles away beneath all the fog. I enhanced the image with contrasting to sharpen the colors and hues of this picture.

Unfiltered Life: Orange Sunset Glows by the Still Waters

The sky finally cleared up and I captured this photo of the sunset by the bay. The original photo was a lighter icier pastel shade of blue and yellow, but I wanted to give it a more tropical summer feel so I added yellow-green plus orange tones and extra contrast to give it an extra boost.

City of Palm Trees: Famous Los Angeles Sunset

Everywhere you go around Los Angeles county...you're pretty much surrounded by palm trees. It makes for a fantastic, scenic drive despite all the traffic. Up above in a cozy room near downtown, I see this array of palm trees in the distance during sunset and had to capture this classic beauty. I added some sun flare, enhanced the saturation with pinkish orange hues, and blurred it out for a vintage-y, summery mix.

Before the Sunset: Purple Lights By the Waterfront

Perfect day (albeit a bit breezy) by the waters. The light is tremendous just a few hours before sunset and the trees looked so nice when we took a break to admire the scene. After capturing the serenity of this, I decided to filter the image a bit with a purple-pink effect to add onto the classic sunset vibe.

Sunset Streams of Tropical Palm Trees

These thin, tall palm trees align perfectly in a row. I adjusted the hues with a faded sunset filter effect to give it an awesome summer Cali vibe.

Majestic Sunsets and Golden Dreams

These impressive cirrocumulus clouds captured during the sunset make the perfect backdrop to the skyscrapers in the area. I added an extra orange filter to elevate the scene.

Pastel Pink and Blue Ethereal Dreams

Witnessed a soft yet colorful sunset with clear skies by the Bay Bridge.

After taking this, I decided to add more of a mysterious, delicate vibe to the photo by including rose-colored filters mixed with faded blue tones for a vintage-y, dreamy effect.

Pastel Pink Palm Trees: The Diamond Effect

Rows and rows of palm trees decked the waterfront. I added a blurred pastel pink effect along with transparent diamonds to incorporate a mysterious, dreamy feel and mimic the effortlessness of long summer days.

Exquisite Exterior Column Design Architecture

A nice walk downtown in the city. Loved the uniqueness of these column designs--the architecture is beyond amazing! I added an extra hint of orange to give the image an even warmer vibe.

Soothing Stream of Sounds: Water Effects

Discovered this garden area that was so tranquil--this streaming waterfall exudes a sense of calmness and serenity after a day of chaoticness.

I decided to filter the image with different effects by adding a slight gradient so there's a mix of black/white imagery with slight hints of sepia colors.

Coastal Elegance: Summer's Cool Breeze

Loved how this seaside restaurant by the Embarcadero waterfront had colorful flowers, palm trees, and landscape that resembled the famous Mediterranean sea and the neighboring coastal islands. I also added the faded sunset-esque filter effect to further that vibe.

Warm Sunset Glow at Golden Gate Bridge

Clear, cloudless sunny day in the city with the Golden Gate Bridge shining ever so brightly with its magical red hue. I decided to give it a warm, orange filter for a sunset-inspired vibe at a nearby beach.

The Intensity of Palm Trees In Blue

Palm trees are spectacular in its natural shade: green and brown. Altering the colors to blue enhances its overall intensity, giving it an extra glow at night. The blue shade also showcases its unique details and texture that can otherwise be missed in its own form.

The Bright and Colorful Swirl Ripple Effect

Having a little bit of fun creating a rainbow colored swirl through various filters and effects. I was inspired by all the unique swirl creations out there and decided to recreate my own version of it. This has a bit of an ocean vibe and resembles the wind and the crashing waves.

The Beauty of Autumn Falls

One of the most beautiful small parks in the city: spectacular in the winter, spring, and summer. Even cooler in the fall when the leaves begin to change into brown, yellow and orange hues. This picture showcases the beginning of autumn as the trees begin to turn into rusty autumnal shades. I added some sun flare and a filter to emphasize more of the changing season.
