Aerial Views of Southern California Coastal Mountains

Flying through the Southern California coast eyeing ridges after ridges of the coastal mountains. I love how sharp and uniquely textured this is with its strong contrast against the clear blue skies and coastal waters.

La Jolla Cove's Descending Sun and Clouds

La Jolla Cove Part IV: A mix of cumulus clouds turned altocirrus clouds continue to swift through the sky and descend into the waters as the sun slowly sets.

Such a serene, classic view that has become one of my favorite days ever.

Lost In Paradise: Colorful Sunsets and Palm Trees Bliss

La Jolla Cove Part II: A nice, peaceful, end-of-day stroll heading down San Diego watching the sun slowly set into the ocean. The surrounding rows of palm trees, buildings, and bright colors from the sunset made it the most epic scene ever.

Magic Star Dust: Aurora and Fireflies Imagery

Fireflies Imagery Part III: A mashup of past work with aurora, stars, mountains, and fireflies all mixed together.

I looked back at my previous multimedia projects and was inspired to create one with all of the unique elements merged together. First, I chose two mountain photos and then began designing the background with a mix of a blue-green gradient. Then, I mixed in pink and white hues to the sky and sprinkled star dust all over (with a slight blur effect) to give it a nice night-time glow and a subtle aurora vibe. After adding in the fireflies art and some human aspect to the photo, I enhanced the brightness, saturation, and contrast to make the image even more striking and intriguing.

Light Fog and Sunrise Over the Mountains

A little bit of mist, a little bit of clouds...a magical aerial view of the morning sunrise above the ground. I looked outside the window and was amazed by the beauty and simplicity of this picture-perfect view and needed to capture the pastel glow of the sun streaming through the clouds.
