Golden Pink Bliss: Wistful Sunset Reflections

Reunion Tower Part IV: The light doesn't always perfectly catch--and reflect--off of a building. As sunset approaches, you attempt to capture the ideal moment where the light, colors, and reflections all intersect in between.

In this exact moment, the clouds turn into a soft, magical shade of pink and the bright sun shines directly through the skyscrapers. The time to pause, reflect, and soak in the present moment is here.

Watercolor Sunset Skies in Dallas

Reunion Tower Part III: As the sun continues to get lower in the sky, smooth colors and textures start forming, scattering lights to create a stunning sunset just like in an anime.

Sparkly Stream of Lights + Midnight Blue Sky Imagery

Reunion Tower Imagery Part II: You can find so much inspiration from the skyline in Dallas. I used the Bank of America Plaza as the focal point for this creation, changing this up drastically with a focus on a dark midnight blue sky and sparkly colorful stream of lights falling from above.

Colorful Confetti Lights in the Sky: A Night in Dallas

Reunion Tower Imagery Part I: There's so much we can't see with our naked eye when we look at the night sky in a city polluted with lights. But we can always use our imagination and create our own imagery of how we want to perceive the world.

I love the downtown night views of Dallas, especially with the illuminating lights of the Bank of America skyscraper in the near distance. I decided to manipulate this image by adding in green and purple hues, enhancing the brightness and contrast, and decorating the sky with colorful confetti-like lights that resemble fireworks and a dreamlike reality.

Breathtaking Orange Skies: Clouds from Above

Reunion Tower Part II: High humidity and a diverse variety of clouds in the sky create the most surreal sunsets. The insanely high wind gusts couldn't stop us from staying outside until the very last second of light.

Golden Cast of Light: Dallas Downtown at Sunset

Reunion Tower Part I: Extremely breezy days can't stop my attempt to catch good views.

There was just the perfect amount of cloud cover in the sky, creating a golden cast of colors illuminating across all the modern skyscrapers during sunset at the one-of-a-kind Reunion Tower.

The hope (and shine) after the rain.

These camera-ready winter trees are in perfect alignment, making for a breathtakingly, symmetrical photo capturing the beauty of winter in the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

Texas State Capitol's Dome and Interior Design

Visited one of the must-see sights of Austin, the State Capitol! I loved the interior and exterior design of this and especially this eye-catching dome. The attention-to-detail of this is amazing, especially while looking up towards the ceiling from the bottom floor.

On the Rocks: Colorado River Views from Mount Bonnell

A nice hike up Mount Bonnell with 360 degree views of the long Colorado River flowing through Austin. We walk all around the mountain and find views of the river from left to right, including nearby parks, houses, and the faraway skyline of Austin downtown.

Downtown San Antonio's River Walk at Night

One of the most charming and fascinating downtowns ever...with a river that flows through the majority of the district! Shops and restaurants surround this long stretch of water with small fountains and pretty flowers adding extra flair to the walkways. Multiple bridges on the river offer views of the rest of the downtown area, including the one-of-a-kind Tower of the Americas observation deck, famous churches, and other shopping hubs.

Wintry Trees and Shadows In the Sunset Hour

Spring is finally approaching but remnants of winter can still be seen all around. It's not too terrible since they bring such a fresh, delicate beauty to the city. As the clouds cleared up and the sun began to set, I noticed the dark shadows of the trees and loved how it looked against the setting sun.

Mission San Jose's Stunning Architecture and Design

San Antonio has some of the most famous and historical missions...ever. One of my favorites was this one at the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Some of the highlights include remarkable arches in the interiors and exteriors of the structure.
