Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada Collage

Las Vegas is always over the top in every way with exaggerated buildings, decorations, lights, and decor, so why not combine all the adventures into one large collage, postcard style? After putting all these images together, I added in various blurred pastel colors in the background for a dreamy, cool feel.

Sensational Skyscraper and Tree Light Illuminations

I love these lighted trees and wanted to capture it with the illuminating lights on the edges of the skyscraper in the background at the Embarcadero. And to keep things fun and adventurous, I decided to change the traditional golden yellow lights to a cooler, blue silver color base.

Ethereal Pink and Blue Skyscrapers In the Sky

Life is all about perspective.

I see these skyscrapers all the time but wanted to look at it from a different angle. After taking and examining the photo closer, I decided to make adjustments to the hues by desaturating it, lightening the overall effect, and including dreamy pastel pink and blue shades to make the true details stand out on its own.

Every picture no matter how ordinary or bland can become lively when taken during the golden hours.

This day was no exception...while we crossed the Bay Bridge I had to capture this before I missed my chance...as the color in the sky changes rapidly during this time of day!

Sparkling Aqua and Coral Snowflakes Imagery

I was cleaning out my closet and was inspired by my aqua snowflake t-shirt--the color, the texture, the snowflake design--so I decided to create an image based off of that. Aqua and coral are one of the best color combos so I used that as the main gradient for this picture. I also added various snowflake designs and sizes in gray and white hues. Last but not least, I wanted to give it a sparkly effect and add extra emphasis and uniqueness to the snowflakes, so noise, shadows, and a mixture of textured colors are a must.

Lake Michigan's Gleaming Night Light Reflections

A chilly, cool night doesn't stop us from exploring the gorgeous Lake Michigan from the Navy Pier. The stunning purple ferris wheel and other nearby lights create strong, illuminating reflections on the waters.

This Lincoln Park conservatory had lots of amazing and astonishing flowers--so unique that most of them seemed artificial....this Persian Shield flower was one of my favorite ones and stood out with its vibrant hue and sharp details.

City of Dreams: Pastel Landscape and Skyline Imagery

The world of San Fransokyo - the beautiful mix of San Francisco and Tokyo blended together. Inspired by Big Hero 6's depiction of the two combined cities, I decided to create a version with the unique skyline of San Francisco surrounding the famous Mount Fuji of Japan. Merging these two together gives a blended, futuristic look to the city by the bay. I also added pastel, pink hues, lightened the overall image, and added the infamous fog to the scene.

Perfect day (albeit a bit breezy) by the waters. The light is gorgeous just a few hours before sunset and the trees looked so nice when we took a break to admire the scene. After capturing the serenity of this, I decided to filter the image a bit with a purple-pink effect to add onto the classic sunset vibe.

The New Mission Bay: Modern Luxury and Architecture

More than 10 years ago, this district did not even exist and was just a flat land...now there's new high rises spotted all around China Basin and the surrounding area. Fireflies Imagery Part II: The dream: walking into a beautiful garden with glowing firefly lights along with jewel-toned colored plants and trees surrounding the area.

Nights like these are so rare...and often cannot be seen in city-like spaces. I decided to create my own magical, endearing scene to capture that moment. I darkened this garden, enhanced the contrast, hue and saturation and made other color adjustments to give the bright glow-in-the-dark look. I added in some firefly lights in the near distance to further elevate the fascinating scene.

Bird's-eye View: Marin County's Stellar Landscape

After a long, pleasant, somewhat exhausting hike, this stunning view of Marin County and San Francisco bay greets us at the top. I was amazed by how blue the waters were and loved watching the fog come and go as the afternoon progresses.

Glass building with reflections of the blue sky and clouds nearby. I loved watching the clouds move and had to capture the movement and the overall scene! I lightened the image a bit to add more emphasis on the cloud and sky mirrored images.

As always, Westin St Francis hotel has the most elaborate chandeliers ever. You can see different versions of them gleaming from the lobby and the dozens of meeting rooms. I decided to compile these in a collage (along with other details like the ornate stairs and escalator) and add a slight grey overlay to the cloned chandeliers in the background.

I decided to manipulate the image with various contrasts and effects to bring out the lush textures of the scene. Different shades of aqua green leaves and lavender pink skies reflect upon the waters, offering a soft, dreamy quality and aesthetic to the garden.

Beautiful botanical garden with an array of unique aquatic, lowland, and highland plants and flowers inside and outside the greenhouse. The best spot? This area with a circle design that offers a glimpse of what's more to come as you head to the other side...

Luminous Monochrome Architecture and Design

Superb modern building in the city with reflections of clouds and the sun gleaming throughout each of the glass windows. After taking the photo at this specific angle, I lowered the saturation a bit for a monochromatic black and white vibe and then added a blue singular color for an unexpected flair.

Whimsical Pastel Sunset on the Canyon

After capturing the clear view of the canyon on the plane, I decided to have a little fun with the photo and create different effects. After adding a dreamy sunset to the background and altering the colors to give it an orange-pink vibe, I tweaked the imagery even more with rough pastels for a smooth painterly vibe. One last element? Incorporating some human aspect to the photo.

The Iconic Space Needle Shines Beneath the Clouds

A gray day in the city with drizzling rain, but even that cannot dampen the mood during my mid-afternoon walk. After strolling for half an hour, this stunning tower appears and matches with the gray skies, creating the perfect, moody photo.

Lights and Water Reflections During Twilight Hours

Pier 7 at Night Part III: After the sun sets across the city, the colors in the sky begin to fade and darken. Lights are gleaming and glowing all over the skyscraper skyline. Straight rows of lights are aligned on the walkway, radiating their own gorgeous reflections all across the waters during the twilight hours.

One of the coolest rooms ever with gorgeous lights in green, blue, and purple shades and abstract designs all over the walls. I decided to have a little bit of fun with this and clone multiple versions to create a stunning collage that leaves everything to the imagination.

Cutting-Edge Innovation: Futuristic Skyscraper Arises

With all these new skyscraper innovations (advanced, twisted, revolutionary ones) thriving in the future, it's great to look into the now and observe current modern shapes. This one looks like any other ordinary skyscraper on the surface level....but with the light reflecting at specific angles of the building...it is beyond stunning. Reflections of other nearby skyscrapers and streams of sunlight give this various tones, textures, and contrasts. I lightened the overall image a bit, sharpened the exteriors, and gave it an extra green-blue effect to further highlight the soaring tower.

One of the best rooftop gardens in the neighborhood with unique, distinctive architectural sculptures and skyscraper views all around the vicinity.

After compiling the photos together, I blurred out the background's grey and light blue hues to make the main images take center stage.

When you open the doors and see sunlight streaming back at you. This resort had a relaxing atmosphere that brings back those sweet summer vibes.

Clear blue skies at Land's End in San Francisco equals a day of hiking and fun. While standing in the shade and admiring the view, I noticed how striking this structure looked facing the ocean right at this angle. The glass reflection, exterior design, and shadow added extra depth to the image. I enhanced the contrast and added more blue hues to the picture to intensify the cool factor.

A Blanket of Stars: Blue-Green Landscape and Imagery

I've always been fascinated by celestial photography and imagery, whether real or artificial. It's hard to see millions of stars in the sky when you're in the city....so I decided to create my own star image by adding different blue strokes in the sky to create a blanket of stars and distort them for a playful effect. I also added yellow-green-blue gradient tones to give off a pretty twilight vibe and a few trees and snowflakes to heighten the scene.

The most mysterious palette ever--deep blue light illuminations adorn the interiors of this party venue. Different streams of circles of all sizes deck the ceiling, creating an enchanting, memorable evening.

Future's Past art sculpture image Part II: This gorgeous art display created by Kate Raudenbush at Patricia Green Park is filled with beautiful intricacies inside and out, starting with a defining auburn-colored bodhi tree at the top. Special twist? This exceptional pyramid also glows at night (with a glow-in-the-dark green color) and can be seen far into the distance.

Festive Chinese Lanterns Sweep the Sky

Crimson red lanterns deck the sky and the city for the upcoming Lunar New Year and the forthcoming Lantern Festival. I decided to get a close-up shot of the bright lanterns and fade the background to give a nice blurred look and feel to the overall imagery. Adding hints of pastel hues with white undertones perfect the contrast between the sharp, clear lanterns and the hazed sky. Take a closer look and you can also see the puzzle pieces effect.
