Crocker Galleria Part II: On a (breezy) weekend, the Crocker Galleria is closed to visitors, which offers up a pretty fantastic photo opportunity to capture the entire mall and its stunning glass dome atrium.

Ruins in the Alcatraz: Island with a View

After walking up the hill, we marveled at these ruins of the historic Warden's House at Alcatraz island.

It's so cool being able to see this from afar and then also getting an up close and personal look of it. 

Berkeley Rose Garden: Stroll Down the Pergola Walkway

A slightly warmer day and equally bright sunshine in the middle of the afternoon calls for stunning views at the Berkeley Rose Garden. 

I particularly loved this magnificent pergola walkway. Captured from this angle, you get glimpses of the amphitheater garden, colorful roses from afar, snapshots of the trees + sky in the background, and the design of the pergola (including its sharp, clear shadows).
