Loring Park Part II: Sunset calls for more golden colors in the sky and all around.
The soft lighting and deeper hues being reflected onto the buildings created a striking image in the middle of nature.
Imagery at a dream state. A mix of photography and digital art infused with color and texture.

Anime-inspired skies continue to take over our world.
The most glorious and dramatic sunsets happen in areas surrounded by mountains as high-altitude clouds spiral rapidly from golden hour to beyond.
I altered the hues of this sparkling sunset, adding extra light blue touches, purple-pink afterglows, sparkles, and sun flares to create a dreamy, ethereal state of life.

Huntington Garden Part VII: The radiant moon shines nearby as the sun completely disappears from view.
The sky resembles a gradient background with the soft blue afternoon hues drifting further and further away, being replaced with muted pink and purple hues.
Catalina State Park Part V: The warm air turns chilly as the sun disappears from our line of vision. The light wind breezes in as the color in the sky darkens into faded hues, dark yet light blue skies taking over.
Reunion Tower Part IV: The light doesn't always perfectly catch--and reflect--off of a building. As sunset approaches, you attempt to capture the ideal moment where the light, colors, and reflections all intersect in between.
In this exact moment, the clouds turn into a soft, magical shade of pink and the bright sun shines directly through the skyscrapers. The time to pause, reflect, and soak in the present moment is here.
Sweetwater Wetlands Park Part II: The clouds fall deeper into the fiery red hues as the sky continues to darken preparing for the middle phases of twilight into the night.
Catalina State Park Part IV: Rows of cacti surround the park, with the light from the sun changing by the seconds.
As the sun is nearly setting, the orange glow is at its strongest point reflecting onto the cacti, until it slowly fades away.
Catalina State Park Part III: Bold, electrifying colors from the sunset strike the mountains and cacti, leaving behind a mesmerizing scene for the eyes.
Catalina State Park Part II: Sunset hits deeply in the mountains when their colors become radiant and truly glow in vibrant orange-red shades. The light from the sun is at its most magnetic point in the sky before setting in the horizon.
Catalina State Park Part I: Dusky, fading red hues from the sun are reflected on the Santa Catalina mountains as twilight continues to sink in even deeper. The surrounding cacti stand peacefully at the scene, their own light shifting as day turns into night.
Sweetwater Wetlands Park Part I: Waiting a few minutes after the official sunset and the sky continues to darken, creating sharper contrasts as the light pink-orange clouds become deeper and altering into dramatic red hues. With the reflections on the lake and the mysterious shadow-like vibes of the trees, this strongly resembles a sunset watercolor painting.
Wishing for anime skies in real life.
I love the spectacular, vibrant, and super saturated sunset skies in anime, where the clouds are sparkling and ever-inspiring.
I decided to alter this photo of the sunset at the lake by enhancing the contrast and colors, embellishing it with sparkles, sun flare effects, and more for an extra dream factor.
Pylon Lookout Part III: Wait a little longer after the first magical start of twilight as everything darkens and becomes more vibrant.
The last drops of sunlight remain as the city lights turn on.

Pylon Lookout Part II: The twilight hour approaches after the sun sets.
The colors become muted and soft but still bright enough where sights are visible.
The clouds have higher contrast and are more prominent.
The skyscrapers stand tall and get ready to illuminate into the night.
There's nothing cooler (literally) than a surprising storm in the summer right during sunset. Dark clouds form on one side while the sun sets by the lake, creating a breathtaking scene with clear, striking contrast.
Roaming in the wild...anything is possible.
When you're close to 10,000 feet above ground level, you feel quite invincible. I had a bit of fun with this image, using the railings, glass reflections, and blue hues of the sunset sky to create this imagery. Duplicating the photo, adding human elements, and some sparkly effects create an enchanting, unusual image.
A new year = a new beginning.
High above the mountains at over 8,000 feet, we are reminded of how quickly things can change and how vast the world really is. Opportunities present itself everywhere; we just need to take the leap in making that first step.

I am always fascinated by the strong weather contrast in islands. On the left side it is raining, but right in front of me, the skies are clear and as we approach closer to dusk...the remaining twilight light from the sun continues to glow intensely for a few more minutes before fading into darkness.

Hefner Lake and Park Part II: Just a couple of seconds left until the sun disappears from our vantage point.
At the lake, the sunset is visible with no obstruction - making it the best escape to catch a calming sunset on a weekday.
