The light streams in from the multi-colored purple stained-glass walls, creating the perfect contrast of soft and dark hues in the room.

City Walls Part III: The clouds start rolling in mid-afternoon, covering part of the bright blue skies. 

While walking inside the City Walls, I stopped and gasped when I saw this view. Crystal-clear deep turquoise blue waters, the sharp and dramatic edges of the cliffs, red rooftops, and the famed fortress consumes the frame, leaving all of us in awe.

The Color Contrast Effect: Yarn & Abstract Art

Chiharu Shiota's Two Home Countries exhibit at the Asian Art museum was made almost entirely of red yarn and letters, creating reflective, evocative beauty and stories that last forever.

The intricate, abstract details from top to bottom inspired me to create my own art. I manipulated the images I took from the exhibit to create this contrasting colored-collection.

The Adriatic Sea offers the most dramatic and marvelous water hues. Crystal clear aqua blue colors dazzle and shine especially brighter on sunny days. From this angle, Dubrovnik's historic Old Town and City Walls take over the coastal views.

Phenomenal Stairway Imagery: The Duplication Effect

An exquisite staircase that caught my attention and held it while visiting one of the National Libraries of France.

I loved the design and architectural structure of this and played with various effects, including cloning, duplicating, and manipulating other elements to add human imagery and a deeper, moodier tone.

Oval Paradise: The National Library of France

The Oval Room at this National Library of France is jaw-droppingly stunning.

Its strikingly modern yet traditional aesthetic is filled with an oval-shaped glass dome. Smaller symmetrical circle-glass designs adorn the ceiling, columns of books are beautifully displayed on the shelves, and artful columns elevate the vicinity, creating one of the most captivating libraries in the world.

So many replicas of the Eiffel Tower live all around the world, but nothing can compare to the real-life version in Paris. 

Santa Maria del Fiore's Gothic Architecture & Geo Design

Intense cloud cover and occasional downpours took over Florence for most of the day. While the visibility wasn't as strong and the lighting wasn't as bright, the deep tones and colors of the Duomo stood out with its vibrancy as the darkened skies and moody vibes came alive.

The simple yet chic exterior architecture of St Louis Cathedral is worth studying. The shiny, metallic-like conical roofs and clean white walls create a crisp contrast.

The aligned carriages came at the right time and added the precise amount of color and balance to this picture.

Reunion Tower Part IV: The light doesn't always perfectly catch--and reflect--off of a building. As sunset approaches, you attempt to capture the ideal moment where the light, colors, and reflections all intersect in between. 

In this exact moment, the clouds turn into a soft, magical shade of pink and the bright sun shines directly through the skyscrapers. The time to pause, reflect, and soak in the present moment is here.
