When you're close to 10,000 feet above ground level, you feel quite invincible. I had a bit of fun with this image, using the railings, glass reflections, and blue hues of the sunset sky to create this imagery. Duplicating the photo, adding human elements, and some sparkly effects create an enchanting, unusual image.
The ridges, outlines, and contrasting colors of the San Gorgonio Mountains create an astonishing photo when captured on camera.
Add in the crystal clear blue skies and this truly shines.
A new year = a new beginning.
High above the mountains at over 8,000 feet, we are reminded of how quickly things can change and how vast the world really is. Opportunities present itself everywhere; we just need to take the leap in making that first step.

Filoli Gardens Part III: The autumn season doesn't make an appearance until winter in California. With the holiday lights and decorations added to the mix, the gardens come alive. An array of rustic colors create a marvelous scenery for us to behold.

There are some breathtaking cliffs at Montara State Beach.
The sharp ridges, uneven textures, multicolor tones, and asymmetrical shapes create stunning one-of-a-kind cliffs surrounding the beach, making it an awe-inspiring walk across the sandy seashore.
The view from Mori Point is absolutely gorgeous--it's as if we've transported to a completely different place outside of the bay and into Hawaii.
Came across this absolutely beautiful view of the edges of northern San Francisco during a weekend hike and had to stop to capture it. The bright green grass, turquoise-blue waters, cliffside views of the nearby beaches and Presidio park created this picture-perfect moment.

As the hours begin approaching golden hour, the mountains start adopting that golden glow, offering dreamy reflections of the snowy mountains in the water on a crystal clear blue sky day.
Once you leave golden and blue hour, you're left with the last few drops of twilight, some semblance of gradient color in the sky before all becomes dark.
This part is the most magical--waiting for the natural light to slowly fade, skies darkening, artificial lights gleaming in the distance.
