Zenness and Greenery at the Portland Japanese Garden


The sun shined so brightly on these plants and trees at the Portland Japanese Garden, making the yellow-green hues of nature come to life. I loved how there were so many different shades of green in this scene, all so clear and concise with their own uniqueness in full display, creating a calmness that can only be found here.

Brilliant Lights & Reflections at Tilikum Crossing Bridge


A city with one bridge after another seen from north to south of Portland at Waterfront Park. Quite an amazing stroll seeing this from sunlight to sunset to nightfall. Dancing, colorful lights and clear, striking reflections take over the city water views at night.

The Breathtakingly Refreshing Lan Su Chinese Garden


The Lan Su Chinese Garden may be a small, hidden spot in Chinatown but the beauty of the space is astonishing. This picture was taken early summer, but the colors of the trees offer a mixture of a fresh spring and a rustic autumn vibe.

Clear Blue Views of Mount Hood in the Distance


After a trek up Washington Park, we caught this spectacular view of Mount Hood from the distance. Bright green trees and partial views of the Portland downtown skyline can also be seen from this garden.

Triangle Pyramid Architecture, Design, and Infrastructure


While walking around the city waterfront, we spotted this World Trade Center and had to get closer for a picture! The building had some of the most spectacular glass art and designs. What especially caught our eye was this sky bridge which had glass panel walls and columns with a triangle-shaped theme. The mid-afternoon sunlight added on to this bridge and provided some awe-inspiring reflections.

Portland's Twilight Night Waterfront Reflections


Colorful, glowing night lights in the city of Portland by the waterfront. We spent a few hours walking along the water, watching it from daylight to twilight. The reflections by the river became more striking and visible as the day got darker, making for a very compelling water imagery.

Modern Skyscraper's Clear Glass Cube Reflections


One of the biggest standouts in downtown Portland. The carefully stacked glass cubes form a pyramid at the front of this building offering clear, clean-cut views of the clouds and trees in sharp, vivid hues.
