Chiharu Shiota's Two Home Countries exhibit at the Asian Art museum was made almost entirely of red yarn and letters, creating reflective, evocative beauty and stories that last forever.
The intricate, abstract details from top to bottom inspired me to create my own art. I manipulated the images I took from the exhibit to create this contrasting colored-collection.
A cool, modern design at the South Coast Plaza bridge calls for a fun project involving a mix of duplication, contrast, and hue effects. Alternating the colors with green and purple shades give extra intensity to the exterior architecture of this walkway.

Sweetwater Wetlands Park Part I: Waiting a few minutes after the official sunset and the sky continues to darken, creating sharper contrasts as the light pink-orange clouds become deeper and altering into dramatic red hues. With the reflections on the lake and the mysterious shadow-like vibes of the trees, this strongly resembles a sunset watercolor painting.
With a mix of colors and an added distorted wave effect, a new abstract background materializes.

This one-of-a-kind art sculpture sits on top of a pedestrian bridge and can be seen on the freeway right below! An abstract creation that resembles a pair of scissors with a cool, cutting-edge look, adding to Oklahoma City's spectacular art scene.

I used an existing pastel bubbles background creation and altered it some more, adding in a yellow-tinted hue and incorporating borders to give it the card frame treatment.
