Bustling, Striking Night Lights at New York's Times Square
It was late in the night in Times Square and there was so much energy everywhere, as expected of the Big Apple. The blocks and blocks of buildings and razor-sharp shining, blinding lights make it seem like it's day time all night long.

The Explosion of Lights: Winter Trees and Shadows Glory
Trees with lights are displayed outside a relaxing open space right in the heart of downtown. I love how beautiful the trees and lights are, and the arrangement of the lights create a bright, welcoming atmosphere with saturated shadows that add on to the glowing night scene.

New Perspectives: Abstract Art and Silver Designs
Another amazing sculpture in the downtown area that is so unique I had to capture it. The angle was perfect and the position of the sun and the shadows created a picture with deep saturated colors.

Let There Be Light: New York City at Night
While walking on the Manhattan Bridge, we got one of the best views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline at night. Clear skies, shining lights, and the cool air makes for a magical evening.

Sweet Butterflies: Turquoise & Peach Fashion Imagery
Such a striking clip that shines and sparkles in different wavelengths with the light. I decided to use a turquoise bag as the background for a direct contrast. I love the magic of the colors and had to brighten and filter for an extra blue, pastel flair.

Lighting Up the Walkway: Twilight Nights & Colorful Flashes
Imagine a warm yet cozy night outdoors walking in a colorful park decked out with lights in the walkway, surrounded by pink and blue-hued buildings. Not the most extravagant-sounding, but it's the simplest moments that are the happiest.
This was such a magical day and I wanted it to mirror something as enchanting as the lights and magic of Disneyland, so I decided to add some pink and blue flashes to resemble fireworks (look closely and you'll see layers and layers of diamonds). I also enhanced the saturation, added more blue tones and lightened it for a sweet, pastel vibe.

Dusty Pink + Blue Sunset Skies Above the Palm Trees
I love experimenting with colors, hues, and different saturation levels for all my photos and wanted to create a beautiful dusty sunset vibe with pink and blue hues and a less saturated, vintage-y effect. On a gorgeous sunny day at Dolores Park, I captured a blue sky photo of the nearby palm trees and changed the effects of it to create this image.

Texas State Capitol's Dome and Interior Design

Shimmering Water Light Reflections and Spectrum Effect
I love abstract art, especially since it can be interpreted in so many different ways and offers a limitless amount of inspiration.
After looking at a colorful lights photo in a magazine spread, I was inspired to create something similar (yet different) by using various pictures of bridges and water reflections. I decided to use the reflected light in the waters in two different photos and merge them into one so it looks like a spectrum. The result? Definitely an abstract piece of artwork with fascinating texture, vibrancy, and hues that speak volumes.

Soar Above the Towers: New York's Elevated Scene
When you stand patiently waiting for the sun to slowly set...admiring the 100th floor view from the other side with the last few rays of the sun shining across.
I waited it out until the perfect moment and captured these soaring skyscrapers from the bottom up. Such a unique perspective and lends off a nice 3D feel.

The Silent Night: Mystical Garden and Bridge Imagery
For this specific piece, I wanted to use the same image as a previous fireflies creation. I wanted it to have a simple, zen-like effect but with the same type of enchanting colors and scene. To do this, I removed the fireflies, added in high contrast and saturation to deepen the green tones, and sharpened the photo to focus more on the details of the garden. I also added in a pastel gradient border to give it a sweet, slightly less serious edge.

Blue-Yellow Sky Vibes: Electrifying Cityscape Twilight Lights
The beauty of New York at Brooklyn Bridge Park. We waited from sunset till twilight till dusk and captured the sensational sky and changing lights of Manhattan.
I wanted to give this view an extra sparkle by enhancing the hues with high contrast, extra hints of blue, green, orange and yellow shades to make the specific details more pronounced and brighter. The result is an epic, electrifying scene that exemplifies the spirit of New York City.

Dancing Dolphins, Shining Moon, and Sparkling Stars
Inspired by Little Twin Stars' pastel imagery and designs, I decided to use a similar background color--a mix of pink, purple and blue gradient--mixed in with moon and star elements. I added in some dolphins to this, along with water, houses, and flowers as a backdrop to create a fantasy-like reality of a city.

Suite Dreams: Blue-Green Lights & New York Skyscrapers
It's always so much fun altering a series of images, tweaking the colors, saturation, hue, and everything in between. For this image of the lower Manhattan skyline, I wanted to give it a dramatic look and feel, with a slight twilight vibe but filtered with more hints of blue-green and yellow colors. Something that is dream-like, yet still strongly saturated. Something that has an eccentric personality and reflects the true spirit and energy of New York.

Rainbow Vision: Soft Waves and Clouds in Lake Waters
After a rainy turned sunny day, I took a walk around the lake and captured this nice shot of the water. It was a normal peaceful image and I decided to enhance it a bit with extra saturation, a change in hue, contrast, and an extra rainbow edge in the waves. I also added in some painterly effects to give it a nice, smooth picturesque vibe, resembling a painting.

Sensational Twilight Lights and Reflections at Balboa Park
You should never miss a walk through the famous lily pond at Balboa Park.
After visiting the zoo, we walked through the rest of the park and caught this breathtaking scene right at twilight. Bright red clouds in the sky slowly fade and darken as the night nears. Beautiful palm trees and light reflections are super strong and clear against this lily pond, making it one of the most striking reflections I've ever seen.

Magic Star Dust: Aurora and Fireflies Imagery
I looked back at my previous multimedia projects and was inspired to create one with all of the unique elements merged together. First, I chose two mountain photos and then began designing the background with a mix of a blue-green gradient. Then, I mixed in pink and white hues to the sky and sprinkled star dust all over (with a slight blur effect) to give it a nice night-time glow and a subtle aurora vibe. After adding in the fireflies art and some human aspect to the photo, I enhanced the brightness, saturation, and contrast to make the image even more striking and intriguing.

The world is filled with contradictions. Cities are filled with contrasting architecture.

Spring's Sunset Dreams: Water Reflections and Colors Imagery
It was a warm afternoon in the city with the clearest, cleanest water reflections and the deepest blue skies. Trees and hills surrounded this hidden park near the basin, offering a nice, tranquil atmosphere for a walk alone and some personal reflecting. I loved the reflections of this and was inspired to give it a nice spring feel and a dreamy light sunset vibe. After altering the hue, temperature, and the saturation of this, I was left with this bluish orange glow effect.
